So it’s not all about the engine, there is also a lot of chassis work that I need to do. So while I wait for parts for the engine there is some chassis repair that needs doing, particularly around the strut towers. They are a prone area to rust on these cars and both sides of mine are affected.

So the front suspension is off and I’ve cut out the affected areas to be patched up. I’ve also removed the steering arms as they need to be replaced but to the ball joints been worn out.
